KMFS Volunteer & Intern Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• Volunteers: Must be 18 years or older, or have parental consent if under 18.
• Interns: Must be enrolled in an educational program or have recently graduated.
• All volunteers and interns must pass a background check.

2. Responsibilities:

• Uphold KMFS mission and values.
• Fulfil the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Treat all individuals with respect and dignity.
• Adhere to KMFS policies and procedures.
• Report any concerns or issues to the designated supervisor.

3. Time Commitment:

• Volunteers: Agree to a minimum time commitment as specified by KMFS.
• Interns: Agree to the internship duration and schedule as outlined by KMFS.

4. Compensation:

• Volunteers: Positions are unpaid, but may be eligible for reimbursement of approved expenses.
• Interns: Internships are unpaid, but may receive academic credit or a stipend depending on the program.

5. Termination:

• KMFS reserves the right to terminate a volunteer or internship agreement at any time for any reason.
• Volunteers and interns may also choose to end their participation with proper notice.

6. Liability:

• Volunteers and interns participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions.
• KMFS is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation.

7. Code of Conduct:

• Volunteers and interns must adhere to a strict code of conduct, including zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or any other form of unethical behaviour.

8. Agreement:

• By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
• You agree to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth by KMFS.

9. Changes to Terms:

• KMFS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
